“ First time for b-fast. It wasn't bad. I still prefer coming in on Sundays. Just something about that southern style cooking. But I love supporting locally-owned businesses. And when the ownership makes you feel welcome and is passionate about what they're doing, it makes supporting them even more special. ”

“ Stopped in for the first time on 12/10/24 for a lunch. Was on a business trip in the area so a co-worker and I decided to stop by after reading the reviews. There was plenty of parking and seating available. Food was delicious and affordable. Portion sizes were large. I got the Meat Loaf, which was outstanding. Co-worker had BBQ chicken and he enjoyed his meal as well. Service was attentive and friendly. Meat & 2 ( roll) was 13.95 not including drink/tax/tip. Val herself stopped by the table to chat with us, which we enjoyed. If you're in the area and you're in need of a home-cooked style meat & 3... this is the place for you. “ My friend and i were at the Plaza and wanted lunch but not fast food. Saw the sign for Val's and decided to give it try. We were not disappointed, we both had the fish and chip lunch combo and both of us brought leftovers home. Very generous portions and the fish and fries were seasoned to perfection Val now has two more regular customers! Josh, our server, and Val treated everyone like lifelong friends. The restaurant was clean and bright. Tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't feel crowded like other restaurants. ”

I contacted the restaurant multiple times over the course of a few days regarding reservations, accommodating a group of 10, etc. Unfortunately, we never had the opportunity to eat here. The staff were always very polite, kind and patient every time I called. I even got to speak with the owner a couple of times. She was very accommodating, kind, honest and patient, as well. The next time I'm in town, I'm going to make it a point to dine there. ”
